Here is our challenge:

How do you get independent thinkers and resilient achievers to work together for their common good?

Scientific and medical researchers are very independent people. Indeed, they would not be able to make the advances they do, if they were not.

People with spinal cord injury are resilient people who face their challenges with singular resolve. They are overcomers.

Join us for a vigorous discussion about bringing these wonderful people together to tackle real life challenges.

• Dr Ralph Stanford – Orthopaedic Surgeon and Chair of the Spinal Network
• Katie Dykes – Peer Support Worker at PAH
• Jonathan Tang – Medical Student USYD

• Associate Professor Peter Bragge – Monash University
• Adjunct Professor Phillip Morris – QUT
• Dr Johnny Bourke – Deputy Director of Burwood Academy of Independent Living Christchurch NZ
• Dr Vanessa Noonan – Rick Hansen Institute, Vancouver Canada

We will meet at the Rydges South Bank Brisbane, 9 Glenelg Street, South Brisbane QLD
