Connections 2012 - August 2012

More than 220 people attended Connections 2012 on Monday August 13th at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. Almost one third of delegates were from the community. We thank our speakers and all who attended for their fantastic participation in this interactive forum. Sincere thanks also go to the NSW Government Office for Health and Medical Research and the Lifetime Care and Support Authority for their support.

Following Connections 2012, the Spinal Cord Injury Network is working towards further refining its strategic plan, which will be publicly updated in 2013. In addition, the Network has formed a collaboration with the National Trauma Research Institute in Melbourne to develop a bi-national strategy for SCI research.

The diverse programme had a broad reach to appeal to professionals and the community alike > more.
